These Terms and Conditions govern your use of coastalenoi's website and interior design services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

• "Service" or "Services" refers to interior design consultations, room redesigns, and complete home transformations provided by coastalenoi
• "Client" or "You" means any person or entity engaging our services or using our website
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to coastalenoi
• "Project" means any interior design work commissioned by the Client
• "Deliverables" includes design plans, specifications, material selections, and other work products

2. Use of Services

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use our services. By engaging our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2.2 Service Scope

Our interior design services are provided for residential and commercial properties in Singapore. The specific scope of work will be detailed in individual service agreements.

2.3 Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the consultation and project phases. You must promptly update any changes to this information.

3. Service Agreement and Payment

3.1 Service Engagement

Services are provided based on written agreements outlining scope, timeline, and fees. All projects require a signed service agreement before work commences.

3.2 Fees and Payment Terms

• Consultation services: Payment due at time of booking
• Room redesign: 50% deposit upon agreement signing, balance upon completion
• Complete transformations: Payment schedule outlined in individual agreements
• All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD)

3.3 Additional Costs

Design fees do not include costs for materials, furniture, contractor work, or other implementation expenses unless explicitly stated in the service agreement.

3.4 Late Payment

Payments not received within 14 days of the due date may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Singapore law, whichever is lower.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Ownership of Designs

All original design concepts, plans, specifications, and other creative work products remain the intellectual property of coastalenoi unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.2 License to Client

Upon full payment of all fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for the specific project only.

4.3 Portfolio Use

We reserve the right to photograph completed projects and use them for marketing purposes, subject to your prior written consent and maintaining your confidentiality.

5. Client Responsibilities

• 5.1 Provide timely access to the property for site visits and measurements
• 5.2 Respond promptly to requests for information, feedback, and approvals
• 5.3 Provide accurate information about property ownership and authorization for work
• 5.4 Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities
• 5.5 Ensure payment for third-party services and materials as agreed
• 5.6 Maintain confidentiality of proprietary design information

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Consultation Services

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows forfeit the consultation fee.

6.2 Design Services

For room redesigns and complete transformations, cancellation terms are outlined in individual service agreements. Generally, deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

6.3 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to terminate services if you fail to comply with payment terms, provide necessary access, or violate these terms. In such cases, you remain liable for all fees for work completed.

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

7.1 Design Recommendations

Our design recommendations are based on professional judgment and available information. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or that designs will meet all your expectations.

7.2 Third-Party Work

We coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties but are not responsible for their work quality, timing, or conduct. You engage these parties at your own risk.

7.3 Material Performance

While we select materials based on suitability and performance in Singapore's climate, we do not warrant their long-term performance or maintenance requirements beyond manufacturer specifications.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

8. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, project details, and home access. Our employees and contractors sign confidentiality agreements.

You agree to keep confidential any proprietary design methods, supplier relationships, or other business information disclosed during our engagement.

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Initial Resolution

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.

9.2 Mediation

If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to mediation under the Singapore Mediation Centre rules before pursuing other remedies.

9.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of Singapore, which have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.

10.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

10.3 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with any service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between parties regarding the services and supersede all prior agreements.

10.4 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

10.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a business transfer.
